Notice: Server Training Amendment
On March 12, 2010, Governor Daniels signed Senate Bill 75. His signature made the changes in the statutes effective immediately because it is an emergency act.
In plain terms, this pushes back the timeline on when employees will have to complete server training to May 1, 2011. Anyone that has completed the training since January 1, 2010 will still have to renew their training 3 years from the date of their 2010 training. Individuals applying for a restricted permit will still have to attend an approved server training course prior to applying for his/her permit. Please review the ATC website for answers to any questions you may have, as it is updated several times a day. If you have further questions, you can contact your local Excise office or submit an e-mail to servertraining@atc.in.gov. For those of you who have purchased the ATC server training CD, we will be providing you with an updated version in the coming days. If you would like to read the entire bill and all of the changes made to Title 7.1, please go to the following link, Senate Bill 75.
